Arizona Gets Their Man
After an extensive search that took them from Hattiesburg, Mississippi to the heart of the MAC, Arizona has hired their new head coach.
Under something known as the McCarthy Clause, Matt Tippin takes over the Wildcat program after the exodus of Jerry Curry under cover of night.
Tippin has PAC10 roots, heading the Beaver program at Oregon State in the past. He has his work cut out for him at Arizona, but Tippin stated, "I'm up for this challenge and just happy to be back in coaching and most of all, back in the PAC10".

Coach Curry Surfaces in Tulsa
Coach Jerry Curry, longtime Arizona Wildcat head coach has been hired by Tulsa University in a stunning turn of events.
Curry has guided the Wildcats for many years and, longing for a change of scenery, has accepted the Tulsa job this afternoon, according to the Tulsa Times.
Speculation is that sanctions were coming to Arizona, specific violations have not been confirmed or released.

Sources: Arizona spurned by Possum
Sources close to the Arizona Wildcat program will neither confirm nor deny internet rumors that an offer was tendered to Southern Mississipp coach Possum to take over the Wilcat program and turned down.
The search is described by most as nationwide, but it appears now that Coach Possum will stay put in Hattiesburg.
